School-age child care before and after school and during school breaks. Summer Kids Club is offered during summer break, Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m., for students entering Kindergarten through 5th grade. Summer days are spent swimming, biking, going on field trips, playing games, completing art projects, playing with friends, going on picnics and much more! The program will transport to other activities within Rushford city limits, including Community Ed programs, church programs, and specific sessions of swimming lessons.

The Foundation for Rushford-Peterson Schools exists to ensure R-P students become successful members of society by building relationships to inspire lifelong learning and the development of character. The Foundation places an emphasis on scholarships for graduating seniors and the enrichment of educational and co-curricular activities.

Lille By Preschool offers children ages 3-5 years old with age-appropriate experiences that build the foundation for Kindergarten. The program is located in the school building under the direction of Community Education.

Wrap Around Kids Club provides childcare that "wraps around" one of Lille By Preschool's classes. The program is outside of normal preschool hours and at times when preschool is traditionally closed.

Every Tuesday is Burger Night & Meat Raffle; Wednesday is Ladies Night; Thursday is Mexican Night; and Friday is All Day $3 Beer. Heggie's Pizza is available all week. The second and fourth Wednesdays every month are Bingo Night and the Sons of the American Legion serves a meal. City Government; Peterson Station Museum: Nearly 100 years after Peterson Station opened to serve Southern Minnesota Railroad customers, it welcomed the public again in 1974—this time as a museum. Today, visitors can explore the area's past through historical memorabilia, photographs, and artifacts, or learn more about their family's history in the area at the genealogy center.

The City of Rushford Village is nestled in the Root River Valley among bluffs and forest land. 33 miles square, Rushford Village surrounds the two cities of Peterson and Rushford.

We are a member-owned electric distribution cooperative serving southeastern Minnesota and northeast Iowa. The Bluff Country ATV Club is a family-oriented group promoting safe ATV riding. We meet every 3rd Saturday at Rushford Fire Hall at 10:00 a.m. Our members hold DNR sanctioned Youth ATV Safety Trainings each year. In 2023 these trainings are: Saturday, May 3 and Saturday, May 10--both at the Rushford American Legion. We enjoy our local area trails and exploring other riding experiences around the country. A fraternal society with a mission of empowering Catholic men to live their faith at home, in their parish, at work and in their community. This KOC council serves the communities of Houston and Rushford, Minnesota. Their annual Golf Tournament, held the Saturday during Rushford Days in mid-July, raises funds for the Backpack Food Programs at Rushford-Peterson Schools and Houston Schools and the Food Shelves in Rushford and Houston. Established in 1866, this nondenominational, public cemetery is located on a bluffside in South Rushford. Charles Sherwood recorded a plat of the Oakwood Cemetery with the Fillmore County Recorder in November 1870. Sherwood continued selling plots in the cemetery, and it is believed two dozen people were buried there after 1870. The cemetery was neglected for several decades. A group of citizens filed Articles of Incorporation for the Oakwood (Sherwood) Cemetery Association with the Minnesota Secretary of State on August 22, 2012 and Fillmore County Recorder on August 23, 2012. Since 2012 a board of directors has continued to revive the use of this cemetery.

The Rushford Historical Society preserves our heritage by restoring and displaying the memorable buildings and artifacts that represent the Rushford area's beginning. Surrounding the site of the original Historic Depot are landmark buildings—jailhouse, one-room school house, small chapel replica and a log home being restored with integrity and authenticity of the time it was used. Investigate and learn how our community got its start.

The Rushford Community Foundation is a trust, a collection of endowed funds, given by individuals, organizations and businesses, to be used for the betterment of this area. Each year the board of directors grants funds to enhance the lives of our citizens in areas like wellness, tourism, recreation, the arts, post-secondary scholarship, and honoring our unique history and heritage.

Whenever a Lions Club gets together, problems get smaller and communities get better. That's because we contribute and support where help is needed – in our own communities and around the world.
