A beautiful and well-maintained, mature golf course that opened in 1931 and is nestled in the bluffs of southeastern Minnesota. Ferndale is a 9-hole-Par 36 golf course with cart rentals and practice green. Relax in the clubhouse or on the surrounding deck with a cold beverage and lunch or dinner from the Bar & Grill menu. Open to the Public. Rental of the clubhouse is also an option for your next event.
Family fun for over 150 years, the Fillmore County Fair continues to promote agriculture and the projects of our 4-H community! The Fillmore County Fair has been a family tradition since 1858, and the Fillmore County Agriculture Society has been hosting since 1865. The Fillmore County Fair is a multi-generational event reflecting the values, culture, history, heritage and dreams of all that call Fillmore County their home.

Nearly 100 years after Peterson Station opened to serve SE MN Railroad customers, it welcomed the public again in 1974 as a museum and genealogy center.

The Rushford Historical Society preserves our heritage by restoring and displaying the memorable buildings and artifacts that represent the Rushford area's beginning. Surrounding the site of the original Historic Depot are landmark buildings—jailhouse, one-room school house, small chapel replica and a log home being restored with integrity and authenticity of the time it was used. Investigate and learn how our community got its start.

Inter-library loans through the regional library system and downloadable books, magazines, movies and more. Computers available for the public. You may even borrow a bicycle through the library's BikeShare Program, in partnership with the Root River Trail Towns.
Vinegar Ridge Recreation Area has six miles of hiking or horseback riding trails and is located along the Root River State Trail with access to 60 miles of paved bicycling. Visitors can also canoe or kayak the Root River State Water Trail within the recreation area.
Eight primitive campsites are available with a cleared area, fire ring, and table. One vault toilet available. All sites on a first-come, first-served basis for a fee. Located 5 miles east of Rushford and 7 miles west of Houston on River Drive. Camping area managed by Beaver Creek Valley State Park.
