Must be 10 years of age before class start date listed above in order to be eligible to take this class. Learn valuable skills to make you a safe rider. This course is required for youth to ride on state lands and trails.
Registration due one week prior. Participants must take the online DNR safety training for youth, take the quizzes, and print the certificate of completion prior to class. Details available by contacting Heidi Halvorson, Bluff Country ATV Club secretary (contact info above).

(1) Go to the website to complete the online DNR safety training for youth – cost is $29.95 to do this step. Print the certificate of completion to bring to the hands-on class.
(2) Attend the hands-on safety class. Cost is $10 per student for this hands-on class. Check-in begins at 9 a.m., and a parent signature is required at this time. Parents are highly encouraged to stay; and parents of 10-year old participants are requested to stay for the duration of the class. What to bring/wear: DOT helmet, long pants, sturdy shoes. No lunch will be provided, so bring lunch from home (no refrigeration is available). Class usually runs until 2 p.m. or 3 p.m. depending on number of students.
